The study of local Guatemalan corn fields and the study of aerial views inspired this series of wool rugs highlighting and preserving the traditional wool weaving technique of Momostenango in Guatemala.
Each carefully handcrafted piece explores the rich and vibrant depths and views of local agriculture and the importance of local organic produce harvested within the communities.
Natural colors are used within the series to eliminate chemicals used for dying, using different techniques creating depth in each piece.
